Terms and Conditions

Conferences organized by the company Luxatia International (company ID: 03218899) are close-door events, i.e. that the Conferences are not open to the public; participation is limited and is only possible on the basis and upon submission of a validly purchased ticket.

 ORDERS

The orders for participation in each Conference are accepted via online Registration on the website of the Luxatia International. The received Registrations are classified by delivery date. The Customer shall obtain the confirmation by email after sending the Registration.

 PRICE

The prices for each Conference are valid and binding at the time of their publication and registration. Luxatia International reserves the right to change prices at any time; the changes will not affect the Registrations which are already confirmed by Luxatia International.

 PAYMENT

The payment for the ticket is payable in full at the time of the Registration and includes lunch, refreshment and the relevant materials for the Conference.

The default payment maturity is within 5 business days, unless is agreed otherwise.

 DISCOUNTS

All discounts can be used only during the Registration; discounts cannot be added. All discounts are subject to approval by Luxatia International. Discounts for group registrations are valid only for the number of Customers which are mentioned on the registration form.

TAX DOCUMENTS

The tax documents will be sent to the participants by e-mail at their request within 24 hours after the payment is received, unless agreed otherwise.

 PREVENTION OF MISUSAGE

Do not expose or show the purchased tickets or the confirmation of registration anywhere. By publishing them publicly you take the risk of misusage of the barcode and / or registration number, and you may not be allowed to attend the Conference.

 ALTERNATE

Upon request on time, it is always possible to inform regarding a replacement of an already registered Customer by another person.

 CANCELATION OF REGISTRATION

In the event that Registration is canceled 60 business days or more before the Conference is held, this cancellation is subject to a registration fee up to 50% the value of the ticket per Customer. In case of canceling the Registration later than 60 business days before the Conference is held, the paid amount cannot be refunded and the amount remains payable in full. All cancellation requests of Registration must be sent by e-mail to info@luxatiainternational.com, marked for customer service and delivered by Luxatia International.

 METHOD FOR CONSULTATION IN THE EVENT OF CHANGE OR CANCELLATION OF THE CONFERENCE

In the event that Luxatia International cancels or changes the date of the Conference for any reason, the Customer will be contacted via contact email provided to Luxatia International that the Conference is canceled or the date of the event is changed.

Luxatia International is not responsible if the Customer cannot be reached out in time through the provided contact email or if the Customer receives the timely notification of cancellation or change of the date of the Conference with a delay.

 CANCELING AND CHANGING THE CONFERENCE

While every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the advertised Conference we reserve the right to change the Conference dates, format, sites or location, omit Conference features, or merge the Conference with another Conference as it deems necessary without penalty. In such situations no refunds, partial refunds or alternative offers will be made and all pending amounts remain payable. In the event that we permanently cancel the Conference for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to any force majeure occurrence, and provided that the Conference is not postponed to a later date nor is it merged with another Conference, the client will receive a 100% refund of the registration fee in a maximum of 30 working days from the date of cancellation.

Except for the abovementioned exceptions, the paid entry is not refunded.

 LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES

Luxatia International is not liable for any damage caused by any change of term, format, cancellation or replacement of the Conference. Luxatia International has no responsibility in the case that any Conference is, was or will be canceled, in the case that the format of the event or date of the event changed or was replaced due to a random event, the effects of natural forces, pandemic, an unforeseen event or any other event that renders the Conference impractical, illegal or impossible. For the purposes of this point, accidental occurrences include, but are not limited to: wars, fires, pandemics, labor strikes, extreme weather or other emergencies. Luxatia International is not responsible for any damage or any other injury that may arise to the Customer or any third party in connection with the Conference. In particular, company is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the Customer in connection with the Conference, its modification, cancellation or performance, except those stated in the Business Terms and Conditions.

Luxatia International also accepts no responsibility for the Customer (as a participant in the Conference) to rely on the information provided in the materials and materials provided in the Conference or in the post-conference packages.

 SPEAKERS AND TOPICS

Please note that speakers and topics have been confirmed at the time of publication of the Conference's offer, circumstances beyond Luxatia International's control may require that the speakers may be alternated, the subject may be changed or canceled. In connection with the aforementioned, Luxatia International is stipulating the right to replace notified members of speakers and / or to amend themes, if necessary, and without any liability.

 PROTECTION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Any unauthorized taking of pictures and recording or transmission of a sound or video record, data or information is expressly prohibited. By accepting these Business Terms and Conditions you also agree to filming and recording of you as well as taking pictures. Furthermore by the attending at the Conference, as a Customer, you also agree to the use of any recordings or photographs taken by Luxatia in the course of the Conference for advertising, marketing and other purposes.

All materials provided during the Conference, which meet the characteristics of the author's work under the Act No. 121/2000 Coll., on Copyright and Rights Related to Copyright and on Amendment to Certain Acts, as amended, are protected by copyright. None of the materials or parts thereof may be processed, copied, distributed, commercially used or used for public presentations by any other means without the prior written consent of Luxatia International. Luxatia International warns that the post-conference packages may not include all of the information that were part of the Conference. Post-conference packages contain only the information that Luxatia International is authorized to provide in post-conference packages. Luxatia International is therefore not responsible for any failure to provide, authenticity or incompleteness of the information mentioned in the Conferences or in the post-conference packages.

Luxatia International does not in any way bear any liability towards the Customer (as a participant in the Conference) or any third party for the Customer's further processing, copying, distribution, commercial use or use of the materials or materials provided in the Conference, including post-conference packages, to public presentations.

 RECORDING A WEBINAR

It is prohibited for participants of webinars organized by Luxatia International to make any recordings (such as audio or audio-visual recordings) of any webinar without prior written consent of Luxatia International. Also, it is prohibited for participants of webinars organized by Luxatia International to forward or otherwise distribute any recordings of any webinar to third parties (for example uploading them to Youtube, Spotify etc. or uploading them to any other websites or platforms for content distribution, or to any website) without the prior consent of Luxatia International.

Luxatia International does not in any way bear any liability towards the Customer (as a participant in the Webinar) or any third party for the Customer's further processing, copying, distribution, commercial use or use of the materials/recordings of the webinar included but not limitted to materials provided in the post-webinar packages, to public presentations.

 IDENTIFICATION

Luxatia International is stipulating the right to request the Customer for identification at any time and without giving any reason. The Customer hereby accepts the obligation to comply promptly with such a request.

RIGHTS ARAISING FROM WITHDRAWAL FROM CONTRACT

For the reason stated in § 1837, j) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, it is not possible to withdraw from the purchase of a ticket in accordance with the procedure of § 1829 of the Civil Code (withdrawal within 14 days without giving a reason), because in this case the purchase contract is a contract for the usage of leisure time and the performance of the contract (participation in the Conference to which the ticket entitles) is provided within a specified time or period.

 PROHIBITION OF RESALE

It is forbidden to dispose with the Luxatia International's tickets and Registrations without the prior consent of Luxatia International in connection with the resale, provision of services, or carry on activities when the trading is generally considered to be hazardous or dangerous. Risky or dangerous are, in particular, activities that deal with goods used in connection with crime, including fraud, etc., or which are associated with a high level of financial risk or which are subject to special regulatory measures, or which they may be considered as immoral, unethical or offensive in general or by certain groups of people.

 PAYMENT PORTAL

The payment for participation at the Conference is secured between the Customer and Luxatia International via the company

 FINAL PROVISIONS

If any provision of these Business Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.

Luxatia International is stipulating the right to update these Business Terms and Conditions by publishing them on the website.

These General Business Terms and Conditions are valid and effective from 01.09.2017.
